Loose Leaf Notebook is my way of examining the way new patterns emerge when decorative elements are applied to the inevitable deterioration of all forms, be it houses, garden leaves, or human beings.

Dedicated to Hera Ware Owen who recently died at 98, and being a woman with "good bones" always believed that decorative elements bring new life to an aging form.
