In 2018, Martina M. Thies of Berlin, Germany and I began to collaborate on our Blue & White Project. We met 30 years ago at Cranbrook Academy of Art and became friends. When we parted, I gave her a hand stitched placemat and she gave me a porcelain tea set. We vowed to meet again.
